Last Wednesday we were BLESSED by Mrs. Lois Early! She shared the most DEAR story about a girl who was born with a pituitary gland problem that caused her to grow at an alarming rate. The doctors thought the girl was going to be a giant, but finally at the age of 12, the meds kicked in and the girl stopped growing. The girl faced terrible ridicule from her peers who accused her of failing many grades - saying that was why she was so tall.
When the young lady was 15, her father and her came home from school to find her mom dead! She hadn't even been ill! What a difficult period in her life. But, God brought the girl some Christian friends and finally she realized that she needed forgiveness - needed a Savior, so the girl came to know Jesus personally!
That girl Mrs. Early spoke of was HERSELF! The students were so MOVED by her story that it opened the door for them to share different struggles they have or are going through. It was a wonderful time - a story of God's faithfulness - that we'll always cherish!
