Nature's Fury

Our theme in our reading book is "Nature's Fury"!

Today, we read a true story about a man who was shipwrecked and hadn't eaten food for 14 days!

That story can be found in Acts 27.

We heard another testimonial concerning Mrs. Mellette's family.

They experienced the harmful effects of a tornado in 1999.

Meet Miss Ashley...she works one-on-one with one of our students - Miss Ashley goes above and beyond the call of duty! She's a bright spot in our classroom!

....and CJ - our TA (Teacher Aide)...she's a senior at LCCS who is helping Mrs. Mellette out 1 period a day every day! We are so thankful for her!

Such precious ones! We are all unique and as we learned this morning...

We are ALL special. God doesn't make ANY mistakes!

First Day Fun

We had our FIRST first day disaster....when we were taking a tour of our classroom, I went to get our classroom pet out of his cage, Zebra (prounounced Zeh bra) our hermit crab, and....I'm not sure how to say gently, but our dear hermit crab went onto a better place.

Open House

Tonight is our Open House/Back to School Night at

Lancaster County Christian School.

Come to our Open House from 5:30-6:30 and then our Convocation at 7:00.
