Here We Come!

A Hero Comes for a Visit

Yesterday we were blessed by TWO special visitors. We had an answer to our prayers come right into our classroom: Mrs. Shipper! She came to thank our class for some Get Well Cards and to tell us that she is healing from that terrible car accident.

Our second visitor was a real life HERO: an American soldier. Now, that's cool in itself, but this soldier was actually Brandon Styer's Sergant. Brandon Styer - son of Terry & Diane Styer (Diane is a faithful/wonderful substitute at LCCS)- gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country: He died in Afghanistan while serving our country. Sgt. Jason K. gladly answered our MANY questions and even showed us his yearbook pictures of a BUFFALO ARMY VEHICLE! Sgt. Jason told us that the wheels are almost as tall as he is! That vehicle was HUGE!
